I keep getting asked why we cannot change the name of land titles or properties. Another question I get asked a lot is why can't we have terrain rights and media rights?.
Firstly, the land titles on each plot of land are set. With over 200 properties now it would be almost impossible to keep up with running around changing the titles. Considering how often people move it would be a full time job. If I had a dollar for every person that says I am going to be in opensim for a long time I could buy a new car! Chances are they won't be. Therefore I am sorry we don't change land title names.
The same can be said for terrain rights. We create nice islands or land plots. Then each person that comes along and has terrain rights somehow manages to make a mess of things one way or the other. Who gets to put that right for the next tenant? You guessed it. Sorry but it is too much effort on our part. If you want full rights then please buy your own land. You can rent a full region for $5 a month and do whatever you like with it.
With media rights we get round it with our Tropicana Radio. If you don't have one let us come and set it up for you. It has numerous radio stations and we can even add your favourite. Just complete a support ticket.
