Recommended places to visit
The Tropicana Grid is open for driving, flying and sailing. With a huge road network and spectacular scenery there is a lot to explore. This is just a small selection of places that you will see on your travels. Please note that registration to this grid is by personal invitation only but visitors are welcome to use the Hypegrid to visit us and join in the fun.
WELCOME AREA
Region: Tropicana Grid
Main Welcome area and Tourist Information Centre. This is the busiest place in the Tropicana.grid.
Hangout and recreation area. A good place to make new friends.

THE OIL RIG
Region: Tropicana Grid
This large and rusting structure lies off the coast in Metropolis.The platform
may be crumbling but it doesn't seem to be totally abandoned. Take a boat to get there from Metropolis Harbour. Its worth the trip.

LAKESIDE
Region: Tropicana Grid
Visit the lakeside cafe at Tropicana Grid and make your way to the port area. You can sail you boat from here or take a horse ride from the cafe area back to the docks.

TROPICANA SELF DRIVE

Pick up a vehicle from the Auto Rental office just outside the city of Metropolis on the main highway out. Rez area for your own vehicles. Take a drive around this huge mega region.

Delightful English Pub by the Docks at Tropicana Holidays. Outside seating area and harbour. Drive from here by road to our other locations. Navigate using the signs at intersectons.

Visit the Red Light Disctrict. at A street full of spicy adult entertainment.

THE SANDBOX

OCEAN DOCKS

The docks at Metropolis Harbour have rental berths for Tropicana Residents. Just park your boat up here.
There are no rental boxes. If you are in the Residents Group then you are ok.

THE SPA

Luxury Spa with all the latest adult furniture in a nice setting with a small pool and massage area. Visit the sauna and watch a movie or your favourite You Tube clips. Other channels available.

The railway station at Tropicana Halt leads to main ralways storage area for Tropicana's future railway network.
Joined by road to many of the other regions you can take a scenic drive from here to other regions.

THE AIRPORT

Our main airport at Metropolis city.
Fly a plane, helicopter or air balloon across this huge Tropicana region. You will need your navigational skills.

The grand Basilica set on a hill in its own grounds and fully furnished.

THE TRAVELLERS

Nestled on a hill by the park and cathedral there is a travellers camp..Be sure to take a look around and maybe go horse riding along the ridge to the great lake with its cafe.

THE PALLASADES

Quite possibly one of the most realistic city districts in opensim. Come and explore the shopping precinct at the Pallasades and check out the arcade games. Rental vehicles centre is here too.

Visit the Air Balloon launch pad near the Coastguard's office and airport.
Take an automatic tour of the region or a self drive version and find your own way around this stunning residential region.

SAILING CLUB

When we organise sailing events or yacht races this is where we meet.
You can find the Sailing Club near the yacht marina berths on the Tropicana Metropolis docks.

MOD BUILDING

Look out for the large MOD ( Ministry of Defence ) building perched on the hill. Situated by the lake and the wind farm this impressive buiilding dominates the skyline.

Visit the Bikers Club in Tropicana Metropolis near Greedy Corner.
We regularly organise bike rides around the Tropicana regions. Collect a free motorbike and go for a tour around this huge region.
