We have all experienced the frustration of logging into our favourite world in Opensim or Second Life only to find everything is lagging badly and no matter what you do or how many times you re log you are just not getting the kind of results that you expected.
Sometimes this can be attributed to your router. You should get into the regular habit of turning it off and on.
This is sometimes called a “power-cycle.” Rebooting your router cleans out the device's short-term memory (also called “cache”) to keep it running more smoothly. It also allows the router to re-select the least crowded channel for each frequency, which means a stronger connection to your devices.
